DogEvent organizes a 4 day conference on Dog Behavior Studies and Dog Training Methods. This gives you the opportunity to learn more in only one journey and allows us to invite several specialists of International reputation while allowing them long enough presentation time in order to be able to share as much knowledge as possible. The two organizers who support this project, Perrine Hubert (The Dog's Compagnie) and Benjamin Bonhomme (DogConseil and ZenDog), welcome in 2016 six brilliant speakers, Dr. CLIVE WYNNE, KEN McCORT, Dr. JEAN DODDS, Dr. LORE HAUG, Dr. ANTOINE BOUVRESSE.

Phd in Psychology, Ethologist & canine cognition expert

Dr. Clive Wynne

Ethologist and Canine Cognition Expert Professor Clive DL Wynne is Head of the Canine Science Collaboratory at Arizona State University and Director of Research of Wolf Park. He was educated at University College London and Edinburgh University in Scotland and has studied animal behavior in Britain, Germany, U.S. and Australia in species ranging from pigeons to dunnarts (a mouse-sized marsupial). He has authored two books on animal cognition - Do Animals Think? and Animal Cognition: The Mental Lives of Animals (Second Edition Animal Cognition: Evolution, Behavior and Cognition) - as well as authoring many research papers on canine cognition, and is currently writing a book on the origins of dogs.

Ken McCort

Ken McCort owns and operates “Four Paws” training center in Doylestown, Ohio. Along with his wife, Marilyn, a veterinarian, he lives with 6 dogs, 6 cats, 7 large parrots, some finches, 2 mini horses, 2 donkeys and a lizard. He has been training animals full time since 1986 and currently works with dogs, cats, birds and a few other species. In addition to his business, Ken is a certified evaluator and evaluator instructor with the Pet Partner program. Ken has taught on the subject of animal behavior at the University of Akron (Ohio), Columbus State University, the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, the Midwest Veterinary Conference, the Society of Anthrozoologists, the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, APDT, PPG Summit.

Dr. Lore Haug

Dr. Lore Haug, DVM, MS, DACVB, CPDT-KA, CABC, is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists and graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. In 2002, she finished a master’s degree and residency program in animal behavior at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She is also a certified professional dog trainer through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and is a Certified Animal Behavior Consultant through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.. Dr. Haug speaks frequently at veterinary and animal behavior venues, with an emphasis on canine, feline, and equine behavior and a special interest in neurobiology, behavior modification, and pharmacology.

Dr. Jean Dodds

Dr. Jean Dodds received the D.V.M. degree with honors in 1964 from the University of Toronto. In 1965, she accepted a position as a Research Scientist with the New York State Health Department. In 1986, she moved to Southern California to establish Hemopet, the first nonprofit national blood bank program for animals. Dr. Dodds co-authored «The Canine Thyroid Epidemic: Answers You Need for Your Dog», which was rewarded the Dog Writers Association of America, Best Care and Health Book for 2011 and the Eukanuba Maxwell Canine Health Award. Her second book, Nutrigenomics: Foods that heal your dog, was published in January 2015. In 2011, Dr. Dodds released NutriScan, a food sensitivity and intolerance diagnostic test for dogs.
